Unwanted toys hiding in the book shelf

Over time I have accumulated so many felt accessories and clothing items.
In the following week I would like to style outfits inspired and revolving around the felt pieces.
It seems the most popular periods for felt cut outs would be the 1920s 1930s 1940s and 1950s

Alternate mirror perceptions

I received this sweater from Larkspur vintage a few days ago, and have been wearing it too much ever since (there may be many more blog posts of me wearing it hehehe) I decided to wear this 'fishermans sweater' with a lobster brooch and a fish purse, which I thought was a cheeky combination!  Today I made buttermilk walnut scones which made me feel very domestic, seasonal, and cozy.

Outfit details:

Fisherman sweater: 1960s 1970s Fisherman cable knit cream wool from Larkspur vintage
Brooch: Ceramic lobster with gold painted details
Corduroy leggings: M&S

Last stop Whole foods and the V&A

On the last day with my parents we went to the giant whole foods in Kensington, and then briefly visited the V&A.  Each time I see the Costume section in the V&A I am reminded how they took the HUGE selection of antique textiles you could view behind these glass drawers.  You could even take them out and study them closer.  I think they might be in the design museum now, which has an entry fee!    I wish that the display of "fashion" was better and complementary to the business that makes up most of the uk's economy.

Outfit details:

Dress: 1960s brocade with darc brown fur trim
Collar: fur mink 1950s
Brooch: 1920s celluloid hand brooch with a movable ring and bracelet and red nail polish
Headband: Fur 1960s
