Sway Chick:
I was lucky enough to choose this BEAUTIFUL dress from Sway Chick!! Its is very much reminiscent of the characters from 1960s Barbie gang. I have always been mesmerized by the barbie clothes of the 1960s. I even used to click on bright pink rain boots on ebay and to my disappointment they were only for little barbie feet! I then found the above and wear them with pride, as I feel I have found THE IMPOSSIBLE!
Look at those shoes above! Don't you want all of them???
Accessories:
I accessorised this beaaautiful Sway dress with a 1960s frog brooch and 1960s velvet bright pink ribbon, and started to play with dead stock googly eyes and a polka dot umbrella in the rain.
Hair and Makeup:
Eyeshadow: Nars in cleo
Barrettes: Neon green art deco triangles in two pigtails
Lipstick: A combo of YSL Rouge pur 49 + 52
Self portraits:

First photo reminded me of a doll, but not Barbie, actually one of these porcelain dolls with all their make up.Then you made me think of both a pin-up (IDK?) and a mod. I love how you had fun with these photos, especially the "eyes" photo and the one directly before it, inspiring!
I really like these pictures!! Especially the ones behind the umbrella! And of course the connection to 60's barbies!!
You found Barbie boots - yaaay! Look fab teamed with that dress and I'm loving that frog brooch - perfect little finishing touch :)
love the colour combination of pink and green, and your closeup pictures! xxx
I saw your post a little back about discovering your gluten intolerance, and I just wanted to say that you look so healthy and happy and glowing in all your post-gluten photos! I discovered the same thing a year ago ... instead of going to my face, the gluten gave me a very uncomfortable faux baby bump (like 6 months along!). Needless to say, I am very happy to have aborted the thing by virtue of abstinence. Congratulations, celiac sister. <3
