About:

I have always been obsessed with these little chenille chicks!
I decided that I need to make them into a hat.
I think it turned out to be creepy funny and cute...just the way I like it!

On Easter Pierre and I decided to go and check out the south bank
because there was an explosion of Easter themed events happening all over.

We went to:
Real food market  Really good food there!!!
OXO  tower Art and boutiques, met a really nice lady working in one of the shops
Cross bones graveyard  The lady above told us about this amazing historical location

Outfit:
Hat: Designed and made by me Nicole Eymard
Coat: Late 1950s floral rain coat  bought in American rag that used to be open in San Francisco
Dress: 1950s square dance dress with ruffles on the sleeves and skirt tiers.  The pastel blue, pink, and yellow fabrics all have mini dots all over!  Detail of dress here
Socks: Best floral print ever! Some Chinese shop on ebay
Purse: Designed and made by me Nicole Eymard
Belt: 1960s bright yellow patent leather
Shoes: TopShop
Umbrella: Cheap store in Japan town San Francisco

Nicole the hat is AMAZING! I walked past a whole row of those little chicks the other day and thought - who on earth buys them? YOU! and you made them into something awesome! Love it so so much. Happy easter!

LOL at the Eatser hat. I ADORE it. Years ago, at easter, I used to make my hair into a bun/nest and pin a couple of chicks in it, but you are taking it to the next level (actually a few levels further). I am also obsessed with those little chicks. When I was a little girl, we had pet quails, and that is exactly what the babies used to look like! :D

And I thought Easter was dull.I was clearly misguided.
That hat shits all over the regular Easter bonnets!
Love it,quite madly.

You know, you should really be a movie costumer. Even for a short movie. Some kind of faery, creepy adventure thing. I'd totally watch it only for the costumes.
