I love soutache. Soutache is a narrow flat braid sewn in any shape to the surface of a garment. From men's mariachi trousers to details on 1910s-1950s clothing, this incredible technique, no matter how intricate or simple, adds the perfect amount of depth and texture to any garment. This technique is a good example that shows the importants of(normally overlooked) surface decoration is in the world of design.

Soutache, that's the name for it! I've been looking for that word ever since I came across a weird/amazing pair of white 1950s pants thickly covered in it. Also, your dress is fantastic.
Good! The skirt sounds like magic! Thanks, my friend Nunu wants to steal it!
In the first photo I thought you'd stuck braid all over your arm! Beauty dress
Beautiful! I love orange and black together.
