I flipped out and purchased it this summer

over the internet even though I was in Europe and not at home

I didnt want to take any chances

this little puppy was mine

i feel this to be a true forest piece/outfit

I had to buy it

I waited until fashion week was over to wear it

Trying to hide with my new fall coat

wore it with this purse to be geekier

(if that was possible)

a nerdy costume I made in 2 seconds for Clementine

She is not happy!

..it has basically completed me! ahah

she actually heavily inspired one of my collections for my porfolio

In my mind she would be the ideal wearer

the other inspiration included:

my facination of deer invading/eating people's gardens

the lattice in these gardens

Obsession

Of course with all small obsessions

big obsessions follow

All summer I was only thinking about

leopards

jaguars

tigers

on all my future clothing and accessories

It began with them creeping into my

shoulder brooch collection

Then the animals moved to hats and appliques

Then I watched the Inglorious basterds in August

and guess what I found

And so, like every other designer

I am only thinking of leopard

I will be wearing it

from head to toe

My theory is that

The collections this season

are making me feel personally violated

I feel like each designer

I feel sure that when a designer takes a trip down "appliqué land" I feel threatened...

I think this really means

I am REALLY ready for a job
